For those of you that no longer live around these parts…
Monday, September 15th, 2008I had to go to the bookstore today for some much needed blender markers, mylar and graph paper. However there was one small glitch. The students now look like 13 year olds and the bookstore no longer exists. There is also this weird rectangular/octagonal building where the hole used to be next to the MC. VERY disorienting. It didn’t help that I was wearing capris and a hat on campus. I clearly looked out of place. Good thing no one has asked me to teach or I’d be in some serious trouble. Never the less, I finally found the bookstore and it is much more deluxe than our day - think Buckingham Palace vs. Little House on the Prarie. Kudos to class of 2004,05, and for you slackers that I had classes with that made it in 06! You are all moving up in the design world and leaving me behind! Kids are WAY better than 20/20 Brandt (just kidding, I’m actually quite jealous and honored that I can now name drop you whenever I feel like it!) Keep up the great design work all of you! Scott I bought another copy of your book, it’s the best baby shower gift ever!
