Do you Etsy? Muffin does.

Friday, March 27th, 2009

Our very own Muffin has an Etsy site. If you are looking for handmade books and cards, look her up.

Who else has an Etsy Shop or other online outlet for your creative artifacts. I am really curious what this market is like. Please share your experiences and suggestions for others who may be interested.

Until W&G here is Shaun the Sheep

Friday, March 27th, 2009

As many of you know I sort of like Wallace and Gromitt. Well, they have a new film that has been released in the UK but not in the US yet. It is Called A Matter of Loaf and Death. While you are waiting for Loaf and Death you could look up Shaun the Sheep (available on iTunes). It is a television series in the UK and done very well. Let me know which episodes are your favorite. In times like this we could all use a smile.

Happy New Year

Thursday, January 1st, 2009

Hello to all.

We are in a new year. I have recently heard of several layoffs because of the economic situation we are in. This is an opportunity for you to help one another. Do you know of any design openings? If so please post them here.

If you are looking for employment please let Bro. Burgener, Bro. Randall or me know and we will do everything that we can to help you. While BYU-Idaho Career Services is new, they are working hard to help our current students and Alumni. They have missionary couples called in several major cities that spend their days looking for internship and employment opportunities for us. Our contact for the College of Performing and Fine Arts is James Gordon.

I am looking forward to hearing from all of you.

Hello all,

Here is a question that I have heard several times in the last 2 days.

Who’s Next

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

20/20’s

During the AIGA opening night community session, 20 young designers (OK, so there were 18) nominated by renowned designers, took the stage to present their vision of “Next,” each with just 60 seconds to wow the crowd.

Among the 18 is our own Brandt Brinkerhoff (BYU-Idaho alumni 2006)
